What happens at a First Birthday Shoot?
You can chose between a Cake Smash with it’s messy fingers and bathtub fun or a Playtime session with outfit changes.
Ideal for babies 10 - 14 months.
‘Cake Smashes’’ include a professionally baked cake and use of studio outfits and props. We will capture a timeless portrait before the cake arrives, followed by much cakey fun and excitement and finally a soak in our luxe baby bathtub.
‘Playtime’ sessions are just that! We tickle and giggle and play in order to encourage the most natural poses and heart-stopping portraits.
Your session will typically last around 2 hours. We are totally led by your little one’s mood and as we only shoot one session per day, we have plenty of time to ensure we get the best shots.
Cake Smashes are busy sessions which don’t allow time for siblings or family photos. These can be scheduled for another time or incorporated into a Playtime session.
You can return to the studio in around 2 weeks to view your image collection and make any purchases.
